Somalia’s Al-Shabaab call for global attacks on Israeli interests

Mogadishu (Harar24) – Somalia’s Al-Shabaab movement have called for attacks on Israeli interests all over the world as a revenge for the ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza.

The call for attacks on Israeli interests and Jews came as the official spokesman for the group, Sheikh Ali Mahmud Rage known as “Ali Dhere”, delivered a speech in the coastal town of Barawe, where he condemned the ongoing Israeli aggressions against Palestinians in the Gaza strip, claiming that the only way to stop the aggression is to attack and kill Israelis wherever found.

“The Zionists doesn’t understand the language of humanity, it doesn’t have any humanity. The only language they understand is that of fighting and killing” said Ali Dhere. “If you are in Kenya, Europe or America and are unable to reach Gaza to assist, then kill any Israeli wherever you find him” he added, while hinting that one of the causes that led them to attack Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi, which left nearly 70 people dead last year, was because it was “owned” by Israeli businessmen.

The Al-Qaeda linked group accused Europe and America of providing Israel with weapons to massacre the Palestinians in Gaza, while adding that the Arab states who are supposed to help them have shunned them and left them besieged. Calling on the Palestinians, they urged them to fight till the last man instead of “humiliating” themselves in front of the “Jews”.

The ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza which left over 1100 people dead and more than 6700 injured so far, with many being women and children, has entered its third week drawing worldwide condemnation, but very little action.
