Hand grenades were hurled at the main Wadajir Police Headquarter in what the locals say was an Al-Shabaab attack took place in the Wadajir district in Mogadishu.

Locals reported casualties among the Somali soldiers in the station.

“We have seen a few soldiers being taken from the station this morning” a local told a Harar24 News reporter over the Phone.

In the city of Kismayo located in Lower Jubba region, members belonging to Al-Shabaab attacked the house of a senior intelligence officer. Residents in Kismayo are reporting that the gunmen hit the house with hand grenade.

Harar24 cannot confirm the casualties of the Kismayo attack, but residents in the city have told our reporters via phone that they believe there are casualties among some of the guards of the officer.

This comes at a time when Al-Shabab is increasing its night attack in the cities under the control of Amisom forces.
